7-Day Tour of Morocco Marrakech Desert Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.

Welcome reception in Marrakech airport for your 7-Day Tour of Morocco and transfer to Marrakech. It is only a few hundred meters from Jemma el Fna square, the major tourist spot in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech – Atlas Mountain – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – The Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges.

The following morning We will depart to the desert and travel across The Atlas Mountains, crossing the TizinTichka pass, stopping to take photos and appreciate the stunning views of the Atlas Then, we will visit the argan oil cooperative producers, where we will learn about the process of extracting and the use of argan oil.

We will be met by an experienced neighborhood guide from the village fortified by Ait Benhaddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) This stunning landmark was the location of many acclaimed films like “The Gladiator”, “The Jewel of the Nile” and many more… Following lunch (free) and lunch (free), we will continue to Ouarzazate which is the main entry point to the desert. We will then travel through our destination, the Valley of the Roses passing through the palm groves that are located between Skoura Boumalne. Tonight we will stay at a hotel located in Dades Gorges.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani.

After breakfast, we head off after breakfast to Merzouga after breakfast, passing through the Todra Gorges. Free lunch and continuing the journey towards the desert. Arrival at the magnificent Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga and we’ll receive a cup of tea to welcome us and can already feel how welcoming desert dwellers are. at this point, we’ll take the hostel bags we have packed and the things we do not want to utilize in the desert. Then, with the assistance of our local guides, we’ll leave immediately with a camel caravan that will last for around an hour that will lead us to the campsite for tents. We will stop halfway to enjoy the sunset. In the camp with traditional meals and traditional music, we will have a great night in the camp.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Draa Valley – Old Atlas – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.

Merzouga Desert

We’ll rise early to enjoy the sun rising over the vast dunes. We return to Marrakech by crossing the dry and fascinating desert landscapes, before arriving at the Draa Valley. On our way, we’ll spend an hour getting familiar with our culture and customs with an expert local guide.
The crossing over the Anti Atlas to reach Ouarzazate Lunch on the scene. Following the excursion, we’ll traverse to the High Atlas and arrive in Marrakech at about 18:30h.

Day 5 is for the trip to (Essaouira) known for its beautiful argan trees and its squares, as well as the method of recognizing associations.

Women who make natural argan oil as well as the most beautiful pictures of goats on trees so I make a stop at the panoramic view which includes a panorama of Essaouira Medina and Berber camel. Leave a 08:00 am at the square and return to Marrakech at 05:00 pm. It takes 2 hours to travel from Marrakech to Essaouira and back.

Day 6 Ouzoud waterfalls

(Ouzoud) Ouzoud is the most stunning landscape with huge cascading waterfalls that are found in Morocco. There will be a few moments to get better shots along the way. Ouzoud (2 two hours). The departure time is 08:00 AM and return by 5:15 pm.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakech Airport.

After breakfast, we’ll take a trip to the most famous sights of Marrakech The main sights include a visit to the city of Koutoubia as well as the Palais da Bahia. The souks will be visited, Medina as well as Jemaa El Fna. To allow you to fully enjoy the tour and walk around the streets of Medina along with the souks the tour will be conducted on foot, with an experienced local guide.
